DOING OUR BIT

Sustainability is a very important part of our business.

We are constantly looking at ways in which we can recycle, reuse and reduce to lessen the impact on the environment.

RECYCLE

  • We recycle all of our paper, plastics, glass and metals.
  • We have 3m3 recycling bins for cardboard and soft plastics, used in our packaging process.

REUSE

  • Part of our plan is to reuse as many parts and items in our production, before they are recycled or put in the general waste.

REDUCE

  • We not only try to reduce waste in our production, but we do a lot of R & D around the efficiencies of spa & pool filters. We manufacture the most efficient filter using the least amount materials, to suit the application.
  • In 2017 we installed a 15.12kW solar power system with 56 roof panels. This generates 19,500kWh per year and we export 4,500kWh back to the national grid. This solar power has reduced our imported power by 22%.
